Privacy Policy

Plain words first: no accounts, no data selling, no ad profiles built by us. The details live below. Last updated October 29, 2026.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: the free tools need no signup. If you create an account (for the AI agent workspace) we store your email, a salted hash of your password, your phone number and your country. We use the phone number and country to contact you about your account, support and service updates, and to understand where our users are. We never sell them or share them with advertisers. You can ask us to correct or delete them at any time.
  • Prompts and uploads: text prompts and images you submit are transmitted to our servers solely to run the generation, then passed to third-party AI providers. A copy of the image you upload and of the image we generate is kept for up to 30 days in private storage that only the operator can access, so that misuse and illegal content can be reviewed after the fact. These copies are never published, never listed publicly, and are deleted automatically after that window.
  • Generated outputs are also stored temporarily on our CDN so you can preview and download them, and are deleted automatically after a limited retention window.
  • Connected social channels: if you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, we process the account handle, message text, contact identifiers and delivery status to answer messages and hand them to you. Messages are processed by the social platform and our messaging infrastructure provider under their own policies. We do not sell this data, and you can disconnect a channel at any time.
  • Contact messages: if you email us, we keep your message and address only long enough to reply and handle the matter.
  • Technical data: like nearly every site, our infrastructure (Cloudflare) sees standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics. We do not build advertising profiles.

2. How we use information

  • To operate the tools: queue, render, and deliver your generations.
  • To keep the service fair and online: rate-limiting, bot detection, and debugging.
  • To answer you: replies to support, takedown, and business messages.
  • We do not sell personal information. We do not share prompts or uploads with advertisers.

3. Cookies and advertising

  • Third party vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this or other websites.
  • Clipaist may show display advertising (including Google AdSense, when enabled) and in-page push advertising served by Monetag (monetag.com). These vendors may use cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
  • In-page push ads: Monetag may deliver notification-style or in-page push ad units. They load by default when you visit the site; Clipaist does not show a cookie banner. You can stop them at any time by blocking cookies and site notifications in your browser settings, by using a browser ad blocker, or by emailing [email protected].
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads). Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ uses of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (https://www.aboutads.info/choices).
  • We do not control third-party advertisers’ cookies or ad delivery. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not break the generators, but ad slots may appear empty.

4. Third-party services

  • Cloudflare (CDN, security, and hosting): processes request traffic to deliver pages fast and block attacks.
  • AI generation providers: receive your prompts/uploads to render outputs. They process data under their own policies.
  • Meta/Instagram (social platform): processes account permissions and messages when you connect a social channel. Our messaging infrastructure provider processes delivery on our behalf.
  • Monetag (monetag.com): serves in-page push advertising as described above.
  • Google AdSense: may serve display advertising as described above when enabled.
  • We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.

5. Data retention

  • Generated files are kept on our CDN for a short window (typically days) for preview/download, then deleted automatically.
  • Uploaded and generated images are kept for up to 30 days in private storage for abuse and safety review, then deleted automatically by a retention rule. Access is limited to the operator; nothing in that storage is served to visitors or published.
  • Server logs used for security and debugging roll over automatically and are not kept indefinitely.
  • Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve the issue, then archived or deleted.

6. Children’s privacy

  • Clipaist is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted content, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your rights

  • Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject and we will respond within 30 days.
  • Takedown requests for generated files: include the file URL — valid requests are actioned within 72 hours.

8. Changes to this policy

  • If this policy changes materially, we will update the date below and, for significant changes, post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

9. Contact

  • Questions about this policy: [email protected]. See also the Contact page for response times and what to include in your message.
