Which formats can I convert between?
JPG, PNG, WebP and (where your browser supports it) AVIF. You can read JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and SVG files. Animated GIFs become a still image of the first frame.
How do I compress images to a specific file size?
Open Advanced and set "Max size per image (KB)". The tool searches for the highest quality that fits, for example under 200 KB for a form upload.
Will it keep transparency?
PNG, WebP and AVIF keep transparent areas. JPG cannot, so transparent pixels are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default).
Does compressing remove EXIF or location data?
Yes. Re-encoding drops camera metadata including GPS location, which is handy before you share photos. Colour profiles are converted to standard sRGB.
Can I download everything at once?
Yes. "Download ZIP" packs every processed image into one file, and each row also has its own download button.
